Cookie Policy

In short: without your consent we save no statistics or marketing cookies. We ask on your first visit, and you can change your choice at any time. The client report also uses a single, strictly necessary cookie that remembers your personal link. The Romanian version of this document prevails.

What cookies are

Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser so it can remember information between visits or between pages — for example, that you've signed in.

Public pages

On the public pages (home page, portfolio, blog, legal documents) we use Google Analytics 4, to see how many people visit and which pages they read, and the Google Ads tag, to measure which ads bring clients. Both save cookies — but only after you press “Accept”. If you decline, or close the banner without choosing, none are saved.

NamePurposeDurationType
_ga, _ga_*Google Analytics: tells visitors apart and remembers the current visit, so two people aren't counted as one2 yearsstatistics, third party (Google), only with your consent
_gcl_auGoogle Ads: links a click on an ad to what happened afterwards — whether you asked for a quote, for example90 daysmarketing, third party (Google), only with your consent

Your choice is kept in the browser's local storage, under the name innotive:consent. It isn't a cookie, it never leaves your computer, and it's the only thing we save without asking — because without it we'd have to ask you again on every page.

We use no Facebook pixels, and no third-party maps or videos embedded, and our fonts are served from our own server.

Links to other websites — for example, to our Google profile with reviews — take you to those websites, which have their own cookie policies.

Client report and admin panel

When you open your report with your personal link, we use a single cookie. The admin panel, used only by us, has one too:

NamePurposeDurationType
__raportremembers your personal link, so the report opens without you looking for it againwhile the link is valid (at most 45 days)strictly necessary, first-party, not readable by scripts on the page (HttpOnly), sent only over a secure connection
__sessionkeeps the admin panel signed in (for our team only)24 hours or until signing outstrictly necessary, first-party, not readable by scripts on the page (HttpOnly), sent only over a secure connection

Signing in to the admin panel opens a Google window, inside which Google and Firebase Authentication may use their own cookies and storage, under Google's policies. The client report doesn't use Google sign-in.

How we ask for your consent

Romanian law (Law no. 506/2004, implementing the ePrivacy Directive) requires consent before saving anything on your device that isn't strictly necessary for the service you asked for. Statistics and marketing cookies fall under this, so we show a banner on your first visit.

Until you press something, nothing is saved. “Accept” and “Reject” are both a single click, equally easy to reach — declining isn't hidden behind another button. You can also accept only part of it, under “Let me choose”.

Until you accept, Google's scripts run in consentless mode: they save no cookies and cannot recognise you, sending only an anonymous signal from which Google estimates traffic.

How to change your choice

You can change your mind at any time, with a single click: in the footer of every page, under Legal, there is a Cookie preferences button. Press it and both your choice and the cookies Google set are deleted, and the banner comes back so you can choose differently.

The law requires withdrawing consent to be as easy as giving it (Article 7(3) of the General Data Protection Regulation) — hence a button, rather than a trip through your browser settings. What was measured until then stays in Google's reports, but can no longer be tied to your later visits.

You can equally delete or block cookies directly in your browser (in Chrome: *Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data → See all site data*). If you block the __raport cookie, the public website still works normally, but your report won't open from your link.
